Slouchy Backpack – Bag Pattern | Bonnie Christine

A soft, drawstring-top backpack that sits close to the back, with a curved front flap and adjustable straps. Small enough to be an everyday bag rather than a hiking pack.

Finished size: 15" x 16". Printed paper pattern.

Fabric requirements, based on 44" wide fabric: 3/4 yard for the bag body, straps and loop, 5/8 yard lining, 5/8 yard canvas, 1/4 yard for the inside pocket, and 1/4 yard for the flap. Also needs heavy cotton cording for the drawstring, or make one from fabric. Cording and interfacing are both on the wall here.
