Paper Pyramids – Quilt Pattern | Zen Chic

A modern reading of the classic Thousand Pyramids setting. Low-volume background prints alternate with brights so the triangles read as light and dark rather than as one scrappy field. Includes full instructions and a triangle template.

Finished size: 65" x 65". Skill level: intermediate. Printed paper pattern.

Fabric requirements, based on 44" wide quilt weight cotton: one fat eighth bundle of Modern Background Paper plus 20 assorted bright fat eighths for the top, 4 yards for the backing, and 1/2 yard for the binding. Also needs a 70" x 70" piece of batting. The sample uses Moda Crossweave for the brights and Bella Solids Steel for the binding, both cuttable off the wall here.
