Superior MonoPoly is a .004 reduced-sheen polyester monofilament, the invisible thread for stitch in the ditch, applique and quilting where the stitching should disappear. Polyester rather than nylon, so it stays soft, will not yellow or turn brittle, and takes a medium iron. Clear blends into light and medium fabrics. 2,200 yd spool.

Use a 70/10 or 80/12 needle and loosen the top tension. The Schmetz Chrome Microtex in both sizes and the Chrome Topstitch 80/12 are on the needle wall.
