Simply Sampled – Skill-Building Sampler Quilt Pattern | Jeni Baker

A sampler quilt that teaches a range of basic piecing techniques: strip piecing, half-square triangles, flying geese, quarter-square triangles and more. The blocks come together in a simple layout that works with any 12" finished block.

Finished size: 54" x 67". Skill level: beginner. Printed paper pattern.

Fabric requirements: 15 fat quarters for the prints, 2/3 yard sashing, 1 yard border, 3 1/2 yards backing and 1/2 yard binding. Batting 62" x 75". We cut fat quarters from every bolt in the shop, and we teach this quilt as a class.
