Quilting for Beginners – Pinwheels Plus One

Learn to quilt with confidence! In this fun and supportive beginner class, Debi will guide you through the entire quilting process while you create the Pinwheels Plus One quilt from Fabric Café. You’ll learn essential quilting skills including cutting, piecing, pressing, and assembling your quilt top.

Finished Size:

45" x 59" (lap size)

If you’d like to make a twin or queen/king version, enlargement instructions can be found in the book Quick’n Easy 3-Yard Quilts by Fabric Café.

Required Supplies:

• Pattern: Pinwheels Plus One by Fabric Café (available for purchase at Quilter’s Cottage)
• Fabric: 3 coordinating fabrics (1 yard each)
• Thread: 100% cotton thread
• Tools & Supplies: Rotary cutter, quilting ruler, pins, scissors, seam ripper, and basic sewing notions
• Sewing Machine: In good working order, with cords, bobbins, and presser feet
