Side Braid – Quilt Pattern | Jeni Baker

A twist on the traditional friendship braid: rectangles step down a solid background in a quilt that stitches up quickly. Two versions are included, Big Braid and Mini Braid.

Finished size: 60" x 78" for both versions. Skill level: beginner friendly. Printed paper pattern.

Fabric requirements: 20 fat quarters or 20 quarter-yard cuts for the prints, 1 1/2 yards background, 5 yards backing and 1/2 yard binding. Batting 68" x 86". A good stash buster, and we cut fat quarters from every bolt in the shop.
