🪡 Boo Crew Block of the Month with Susie Alderson

2nd Saturday of each month · March 13 – December 11, 2027 · 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
A few dates may shift to accommodate shop hop and quilt run weekends in March, July and October. We will confirm the schedule in advance.

Join Susie Alderson for our next Block of the Month as we work through Boo Crew by Sarah Sumbera (Copper Kettle Quilt Company) — nine rows over nine months, finishing at 64" x 75". Each one-hour session includes demos, tips, and guidance for that month’s row, so you stay on track and finish the quilt.

🎃 Make it your own: Boo Crew is drawn as a Halloween quilt, but the rows are pumpkins, ghosts, stars and checkerboard, and they can go anywhere you want to take them. Choose your own season and palette — harvest, Christmas, summer, whatever you dream up. We’ll finish with a potluck in December, hang everyone’s quilts in the shop, and let our customers vote for a favorite.

Skill level: Confident beginner and up.
Class size: Limited to 15.

🧵 Supplies: The Boo Crew pattern is required and available here at Quilter’s Cottage. Fabric is sold separately — purchase a kit from the shop or choose your own. Full supply list provided on registration.

After each class, you’re welcome to stay and sew with the group during our free “Stay & Sew” time!
